Looking after your every need at Clevedon Court

At Clevedon Court it is our passion to create a home from home for all our residents. All our rooms are well planned and tastefully decorated but residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings to help create that homely feel. The home provides exceptional facilities for our residents.

General Nursing Care.

We have been providing nursing care here for over 20 years, and along the way Clevedon Court has been extended and renovated to become better equipped for the environment and surroundings to complement the outstanding nursing care provided within the home. Residents living with us often live with a variety of nursing conditions. Many are living with medical and physical conditions such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes, dementia or Parkinson’s disease. A lot of these conditions will require 24 hour nursing care and some conditions may be life-limiting. Our exceptionally knowledgeable care team are able to offer the care and support needed to allow our residents to live as well as possible during their time at Clevedon Court.

Dementia Care.

The effects of dementia are extensive for both the person living with the condition and for the loved ones going through the journey with them. The emotional impact is huge and requires time for individuals to adjust and come to terms with what the future looks like. Clevedon Court has a whole floor that is specialist in looking after people with a dementia. The care staff know the importance of looking out for induvial well-being and making sure that every person living at Clevedon Court has a purpose. Meaningful Activity and engagement is paramount in ensuring well-being

Pallative Care.

At Clevedon Court we have a specific area of the home where we provide our palliative/ end of life, it is calm, peaceful and quiet. Are expert care staff understand that coming to terms with end of life brings emotional challenges for both the person approaching end of life and their loved one. Our trained nurses and expert care staff are able to provide relief from the symptoms of their diagnosis and can support the management of the pain and stress of the life-limiting illness. We understand at Clevedon Court that death is a normal process, however it is our fundamental aim and duty to ensure that the individual l at the end of their life has the best quality of care and their loved ones are supported throughout the journey.

Respite Care.

We can provide respite care which allows the individual to enjoy all that Clevedon Court has to offer but on a short term basis. This also allows the carer to have a break of looking after their loved ones so they can look after themselves. Respite care is an ideal way to see if Clevedon Court is the place for you before becoming a permanent resident.

Wide range of social events, hobbies, activities and outings

We have a full time, knowledgeable activities co-ordinator that plans a wide range of social events, hobbies, activities and outings. We have a very strong social network at the home and the regular outings are very well supported and encouraged. We can offer this surface, daily if requested, at our resident, at our residents convenience using our own disabled access minibus.

We have an open visiting policy and residents are encouraged to invite whomever they choose. We always try and organise ‘something a little bit special’ for birthdays or special occasions in one of lovely Victorian lounges. Visitors can enjoy meals with their loved ones upon request.
