Care at Clevedon Court

At Clevedon Court it is our passion to create a home from home for all our residents. All of our rooms are well planned and tastefully decorated but residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings to help create that homely feel. The home provides exceptional facilities for our residents.

General Nursing Care.

We have been providing nursing care here for over 20 years, and along the way Clevedon Court has been extended and renovated to  complement the outstanding nursing care provided within the home. Residents living with us often live with a variety of nursing conditions. Many are living with medical and physical conditions such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes, dementia or Parkinson’s disease. A lot of these conditions will require 24 hour nursing care and some conditions may be life-limiting. Our exceptionally knowledgeable care team are able to offer the care and support needed to allow our residents to live meaningful lives during their time at Clevedon Court.

Dementia Care.

The effects of dementia are extensive for both the person living with the condition and for the loved ones going through the journey with them. The emotional impact is huge and requires time for individuals to adjust and come to terms with what the future looks like. Clevedon Court has a whole floor that specialises in looking after people with dementia. The care staff know the importance of looking out for individual well-being and making sure that every person living at Clevedon Court has a purpose. Meaningful Activity and engagement is paramount in ensuring well-being with varied activities and brilliant staff allowing the highest standard of care for the residents.

Pallative Care.

At Clevedon Court we have a specific area of the home where we provide our palliative or end of life care. It is calm, peaceful and quiet. Our expert care staff understand that coming to terms with end-of-life brings emotional challenges for both the individual and their loved ones. Our trained nurses and expert care staff are able to provide relief from the symptoms of their diagnosis. We understand at Clevedon Court that death is a normal process, however it is our fundamental aim and duty to ensure that the individual at the end of their life has the best quality of care – and their loved ones are supported throughout the journey.

Respite Care.

We can provide respite care which allows the individual to enjoy all that Clevedon Court has to offer but on a short term basis. This also allows the carer to have a break from looking after their loved ones so they can look after themselves. Respite care is an ideal way to see if Clevedon Court is the place for you before becoming a permanent resident.

Wide range of social events, hobbies, activities and outings

We have a full time, knowledgeable coordinator that plans a wide range of social events, hobbies, activities and outings. We have a very strong social network at the home and the regular outings are very well supported and encouraged. We can offer this service, daily if requested, at our residents convenience using our own disabled access minibus.
